NEW CHILD UPDATES, PHOTOS AND LETTERS ARRIVING SOON!
Are you a sponsor who has had the same laminated picture of your child up on the fridge for years, even though you know little Raj has grown a lot since then? Well, exciting news... in a few weeks, all sponsors will be receiving a new/recent laminated case history and picture of their child! Along with this, you'll receive a letter and photo from your child outlining their progress. Coming to a letterbox near you!

While we may not be ready for Christmas just yet, it is time to get ready for your child to enjoy their Christmas.
We would really appreciate it if each sponsor could send a Christmas gift of $25 per child to our Donations Bank account,
so that a Christmas gift can be purchased for each child by the team visiting in January.

More than 30 extra children need sponsors:
We now have at least an extra 30 Children who need sponsors. 5 of our 6 homes have a capacity of 50 children. When we undertook the homes about a year ago we promised to find sponsors for all the children already in the homes. Now that that is achieved we have extra spaces for more children to come in and be looked after.
Please consider sponsoring a child today.

We now have 130 children sponsored of the 229 who need it. So we are well on our way to meeting our goal.
We also have a new advert made by the team who just visited the homes.

We are on our way to seeing all 229 children sponsored. We are up to 97 at the moment. We've also begun our "SaveAChild.com.au" campaign, with Richard and Brittany doing an interview on Rhema FM last week.

A generous person has come forward to provide as much money as we need to keep the homes going until we can find sponsors for each child. Carl returned to India very happy knowing that the kids will be looked after financially.

Carl Komanipali arrived in Australia. He has attended Hillsong conference and will be in Newcastle from the 13th.
16/6/08
Carl Komanipali will be visiting Australia and will be in Newcastle from the 13th to the 28th of july. We are planning to have a fundraiser at some point in this period.

We've now raised $18,500! A further $4000 needed to keep all homes open for 3 months!

We now have a Year 12 Business Studies class that have just come on board and are a highly motivated team.

At our last Taskforce meeting it was announced we had an anonymous donation of $4000 towards the 5 Homes in India that are due to close in May. This is so exciting and we trust that donations will continue to flow in and we won't have to let any of these homes close down |
