The Payakaraopeta home provides care for 152 children, including 75 children who come from villages devastated by the Boxing Day tsunami of 2004. The Payakaraopeta compound encompasses the children's home, a school, a church, a Bible College and a medical clinic.
Over the years we have accomplished a number of projects to improve the quality of life in this home. We have raised money for school buses, digging wells to provide clean water, improving kitchen facilities, and providing beds, mattresses, blankets and new clothes for each child. |
